I absolutely hate being a censor. Assumed i would never have to do it. But advertising is _NOT_ allowed on this forum. When you register for an account, right at the top of the Terms & Conditions, in the first paragraph, you are told that advertising is one of the things not allowed here.
When the first ads appeared they were blatant. Those were easy to delete. Now, though, a more subtle form is appearing. People register for the site and post a completely nonsensical comment somewhere comprising of nothing more than one or two sentences. While not blatant and obvious advertising, at the bottom of each of those posts is a link to something for sale. I.E., an ad.
Begrudgingly, i'm going to become the tyrant. If i see an ad, or a link to an ad, in anyone's post, i will, from now on, delete the post and your userid. If you are a legitimate seller of legitimate henro supplies, send me an email. If i agree and approve, _i_ will post the link on the forum and add a link to the web site.
If anyone disagrees with this policy, please feel free to comment and let me know. If the community as a whole doesn't support this, i will change. If you do support this, let me know as well so i can stop feeling bad.
