Pilgrimage during COVID 19 outbreak?

Hello...I am wondering if it is possible to do the pilgrimage in the next few months or if everything is closed down due to COVID?  Any idea if/when the lodgings might be open again and willing to take foreign pilgrims?  I live in Japan....so I would not be coming from outside of the country, but recognize the concerns everyone is facing.  Any updates on walking the trail in July or August would be very useful.  Thank you in advance...EB

As you live in Japan you are better placed than I am in Melbourne Australia currently in curfew lockdown. Let me know of any news so I can do the pilgrimage as soon as restrictions are lifted.
